Songwriting Breakfast

Laurel and I conducted our first songwriting breakfast in our home where several friends gathered for… breakfast, ok, that was too obvious, and then to get into Scripture, and then write some original worship songs together. Here’s a

This couple has been developing prophetic music and art for sharing Christ with student culture for over 12 years. In 1997 they made a decision to focus on writing worship and dance that sponsored intimacy and intercession at the worship event. They enjoy creating “multi-arts” events where a fusion of visual art, dance, acoustic, and electronica come together for an intense time of meeting God. Though Todd and Laurel a passion for ministering to student groups and partnering with student ministries, they also have a heart for creating worship environments for a cross-generational gatherings.

April Update

Laurel and I just got back from a string of concerts that started at the University of Connecticut, meandered into a few house concerts in New Haven and the 28th floor of a flat in NYC, then Akron and finally Cleveland. We packed our house out the other day for a great unplugged set with Ben and Robin Pasley, and special guests Jacob and Lily. I’ve always played with a full band but this tour I found myself soloing in the intimate setting of the living rooms of friends and newly met family. At first, going at it alone felt a little bit vulnerable, but nobody else seemed to notice the small sound coming out of Todd. I was tickled after 3 of the house concerts, that people were watching my feet as much as my hands, and they recommended someone amplifying my stopping feet. Who’da thought? Anyhoo… we made recordings of all these house concerts that we’ll soon make available to the public.
